Buttermilk Bay Fried Chicken

Steps

  1. 1. Tenderize

    Stab chicken with a fork all over.

  2. 2. Brine

    Combine buttermilk, bay seasoning and salt. Refrigerate overnight.

  3. 3. Bread

    Combine breading, and double coat chicken. Pressing coating firmly into chicken.

  4. 4. Fry

    Fry at 375°F 3 pieces at a time, oil temperature should drop to 350°F while cooking - until golden brown.

  5. 5. Season

    Remove fried chicken from oil and immediately season with salt.
